The brewery was built with environmentally considerate practices, re-purposing materials where possible, utilising a rainwater capture system for cleaning water and a heat exchange unit to reduce energy consumption for brewing and refrigeration. Our spent grain is taken to a nearby farm and used as animal feed. Enjoying a Hoghouse beer directly from the taproom above the brewery or in the restaurant, ensures that your beer has not been transported anywhere, nor required any packaging. Possibly the greenest way to enjoy your pint.
